1) Buildings that we can enter.

a) Taverns, Bars, Inns, Pubs, Casinos... Buildings that can enforce roleplaying....
b) Shops... That would be cool to have merchants not always outside...

2) A more complete weather system... With Snow falling, Rain, Thunder, Wind, Cycle of day/night. I know that some area have some kind of weather, but it would be very nice to have something more complete/random.

3) Some ideas concerning new classes:

a) Alchemists - The could use scavenge items to create potions.
b) Bards - We already have the /drums, /guitar, /violin, /flute emotes... why about putting those to some great use? Perhaps with enchanted music?

4) Rideable horses, giant wolves, bears... Other Mounts... Aerial mounts such as Giant Eagles.

5) More variety of fauna. More birds, fishes, land animals.

6) Sickness when traveling in cold areas... Especially if you don't put winter clothes on... ^_^

That game is so great...

Of all of your ideas I can see number 1 as being a welcoming addition. Though its not needed at all, I think, it would add to the appeal for roleplayers. Come to think of it, this game has virtually no real citys or towns with streets or districts or homes.
as for your desire for and ongoing story your wish is already fufilled. The Anet team has said that they want to continue to expand the story often with patchs, upgrades and expansions.

Enterable buildings is a must. There is so much empty space at outposts.. they should be more alive somehow.

wow, i like most all your ideas, here is my take:

1) Buildings that we can enter.
this engen uses the bulkey "instance portal system" that transports you to one of two places, eather a town( any ware on the map you can click and go ) or a instance ( any ware you go that you are alone or alone with your party) that makes it difficualt ( at least in my point of view, maby im totaly wrong ) to make a building to enter that is not on the map and is not an instance. but over all i totaly agree and hope that they get to these soon.

2) A more complete weather system... With Snow falling, Rain, Thunder, Wind, Cycle of day/night. I know that some area have some kind of weather, but it would be very nice to have something more complete/random.
i think they might have the same problem with the engen, but hopefully the will get to it soon ( i think i posted on this a while ago ). but a way to implament it might be as a spell, or a hex

b) Bards - We already have the /drums, /guitar, /violin, /flute emotes...
why about putting those to some great use? Perhaps with enchanted music?

i was thinking about this too, ( befor you posted, so i get all the credet ) if they implement them they would have to make shure they are diffrent then the mesmar class, this might be implemented like the dnd way, such as the "jack of all traids way", or just trail and error.

5) More variety of fauna. More birds, fishes, land animals.
i like this idea, but most of all i would like to see the world interact with in its self. such as birds fishing, or sharks eating minnos, even if its not a "real" eco-system just to see it in motion would be great.

6) Sickness when traveling in cold areas... Especially if you don't put winter clothes on... ^_^
i like this idea, perhaps not just even colds ( witch i might add, can be cought any time of the year , but flus, or heat strokes, perhaps. but that would mean, lowering the cost of fur, first.

7) defending the fort
i like the idea of massive battles, how about a town that is constantly being attacked. just throwing this out.

Dagbiker, your defending the fort idea is almost already in the game. In pvp its called king of the hill, but I can see how a pure "defending the fort" type of match could be fun. I think I see where your going with this. It would be most lovely to be able to select what "types" of matches you want to play in pvp and have it less random. For example. I want to play 6 on 6 defending the fort match. Or I want to do a 4 on 4 king of the hill. I dont think it should even take a guild hall to do this. Just go to an arena and select what type of match you want and with how many players. Your match request will look for similar combaters and your in the pvp match.

I like most of these suggestions.

1. Buildings would be great for RPing. I'm not sure about casinos though, you'd have to play vs the npcs because they took out gambling (the /roll). I'd also like a place in all the arenas where you can look in on the action and even bet on it.

I'd also like to see a "building" arena where everyone is packed in close quarters. AoE would be king and keeping your team in the right place would keep the other team from directly charging the monk (the warriors anyways).

2. Yes, I'd love more weather, even a change of seasons even. I'd also like post-searing ascalon to return back to what it was, but that's another thread (and maybe a future chapter).

Yes, against the NPC's that is... In various games. Perhaps even "world" or "story" flavour-related games played with osselets (Small Carved Bones), Runes and even a little bit of magic.

Yes, bets on the arena can be fun... especially if there are odds that varies with the combatant experience/previous wins.

1. Good, would like it also

2. Doesn't really bother me because I can teleport to a snowy area or a green forest in a matter of 2 seconds.

3. I'll skip, whatever floats you boat on the music to the emotes.

4. Already been 50+ threads on this. My view is sure add them, but if they should cost 100K and you can't teleport anywhere anymore. Also when they die you have to buy another one.

5. Yeah, k

6. Me wanting power to heal and my monk is purely tatoos I hope they never implement this

Oh you mean like a stickly pve type of match where a team defences (or takes) a fort from enemy mobs?
Well, thats sort of all around the game already. Just not on demand. You have to find the missions that do this.
Check this out: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=17275

Its very similar to your idea (defending the fort, pve style) and looks like lots of fun.

The buildings is a great idea and one probably everyone has thought of. It would take a lot of work to dig out the currently solid spaces, but it would be worth it.

I also get urked that I can't climb ladders. partially from a strategic point of view but mostly because they offer nice views if you can get up buildings... this too would take a lot of work.

They could start in Lion's Arch and just carve out some of the buildings. For the time being they don't need to be functional, just open. Maybe over time they could start stocking them with various types of NPC's and villagers.

true, that gives me another idea, how about the ability to interact with the invirement a little better. such as climbing latters such as my pretisser stated, or getting cover from enemmy fire from a rock, or tree ( more then the pvp hidding form targeting ), or burning a bridge so youre enemy cant pass

All great ideas.......they can emphasise the weather and day and night cycle abit more.........where certain quest/mission can only can done at night or vice versa..........also different weather creates new paths to different locations......for e.g heavy snow leads to rivers been throzen therefore creating new paths to travel and UBER loots

I'd love to be in Lions Arch when all of a sudden a cinematic starts and you see the clouds becoming dark and it starts to rain. Then you see ships coming closer from a distance and they are warships carrying Undead soldiers, and then the warships sink the big Galleon that's in port in Lions Arch. The enemy combatant ships dock and undead swarm out and into the mainland and everyone who is in town fights for their lives or either dies cause they are away from keyboard taking a poop. They come back and see all the corpses of undead and human players alike, and say " what the F' just happened? " of course, you could make the event more extreme and exciting. Maybe some Undead fly in on dragons, land, and then jump off and the Dragons fly off. Well, this is just an idea. I really wanted to have events where monsters would come into towns and scare the living crap out of everyone.

There was a video from the beta somewhere (can't remember where) where Gwen walked into post-searing ascalon city, and was randomly setting people on fire. Stuff like that happening would be nice

Not only are GM events WAY overrated, (have you ever been to one? they suck) but have you noticed there is no GM staff for Guild Wars at the moment? You don't page a CSR and get help, because there are no CSRs and the reason for that is money. Other games take your money every month and thus can afford to pay a team of many individuals to be on 24/7 to help people or run events. Guild Wars, not the case. This also makes it impossible to enforce roleplaying, as if that were even possible in the first place.
